What caused the vacation rental labor shortage.
It’s clear: From The Great Resignation to a spike in remote workers, and more listings on the market than ever before, it’s becoming even more challenging for vacation rental hosts and business owners to hire and retain great workers. This “put the recovery of the sector in serious jeopardy” in 2022 and beyond. Research by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC)* found that in 2022, around 480,000 travel and tourism jobs would remain unfilled. 🚨 I would prefer 1 person or group do ALL of these tasks…so it functions seemlessly.Despite the short-term rental industry’s remarkable recovery after the lows of 2020, the vacation rental labor shortage situation is continuing to bite. Lastly I have an animated logo I’ve already purchased that I need to be customized. I need a VERY nice brochure built for potential wedding guests. I have several web addresses already and a site on WIX but I believe Guesty offers a free website with their services that needs to be setup and linked to my addresses. That database needs to be linked to a website (that some core software companies offer with the package…leaving hardly any setup that actually needs to be done) …so we can get direct bookings. ▪️It needs to integrate with smart locks YALE and SCHLAGE to auto generate a passcodes before checkin and remove them after check out time. ▪️And do all of it for several STR sites….from Airbnb, VRBO, homeaway, google travel,, etc. ▪️ send automated messages to guests after they book and checkin ▪️ Calenders must sync between platforms to prevent double bookings The CORE software management system needs to pull in guest data, (Channel Manager…most likely Guesty) These systems are already built…and integrated…I just don’t have the time to figure out which system does everything I need it to do, to set each piece up one by one make sure it works, trouble shoot, watch demos with sales people, and build a generic direct booking site on top of that. I’m looking for someone with Multi Platform STR software experience to setup a complete start to finish system. Need someone with Airbnb 3rd party implementation with possibly Guesty and the integration of their software and Airbnbs site experience.
